NextGen Association Summit 

The application period will open Thursday, May 1!

 

Calling on leaders who have both a passion for associations and the leadership potential to make a tremendous impact to the success of the organizations they serve. ASAE will soon be accepting applications for the #NextGen Association Summit class of 2025!

Applications must be submitted by 11:59 PM ET on May 31, 2025 to be considered. Incomplete or late applications will be disqualified.

Up to 24 participants will be hosted (including airfare, hotel, meals and activities) by ASAE Strategic Partner, Experience Columbus. The program will take place October 1 - 3, 2025 in Columbus, OH. 

Led by Trevor Mitchell, CAE, FASAE, attendees will cultivate new professional skills and creative confidence, while acquiring tools, visibility and a growing network that is a notable force in the broader association community.

    Trevor is an energetic leader with a solid track record for leading successful high-performing teams to achieve desired outcomes. Trevor is viewed as a thought leader and expert within the association community in bridging current and future business trends to traditional association management practices.

    As the President & CEO of the International Association of Venue Managers, Trevor provides leadership toward the achievement of IAVM's mission, vision, strategy and annual goals and objectives.

    Throughout his career, Trevor has been active in the association management profession as well as in industry events. He is currently involved with the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and has served in leadership on the Conscious Inclusion Advisory Committee.  He is a member of the Texas Society of Association Executives (TSAE) and served in leadership on the Board of the Directors. He contributes to several publications and presentations around the country on various association management topics.

    Trevor earned the Certified Association Executive Designation in 2012 and became an ASAE Fellow in 2022.
